Mumbai News: A 25-year-old married woman cut her ex-lover’s private part after he didn't comply with her wish to marry her and leave his wife. The accused woman invited her 44-year-old former lover to her home in Mumbai under the guise of New Year’s sweets and attacked him with a knife.
The man is currently receiving treatment at Sion Hospital in Mumbai, while the accused woman is absconding.
Why Woman Cut Former Lover’s Private Part
The initial probe into the matter revealed that the two were in a relationship for the last six to seven years, and the accused woman is reportedly the sister-in-law of the victim's sister.
The woman resorted to a horrifying act after the man didn’t leave his wife and marry her, even after several attempts to pressure him.
The man had been living in Santa Cruz East for the past 18 years with his family and went to Bihar in November 2025. The woman allegedly continued threatening him over the call even when he was in another state.
The woman invited him to her home on December 31, around 1:30 am on the pretext of New Year’s Eve to give sweets, as the man maintained distance from her even after returning from to Mumbai on December 19.
While her children were asleep, the woman asked the man to remove his pants as she went to the kitchen to bring a knife. She then suddenly attacked the victim's private parts. The man sustained serious injuries and suffered excessive bleeding.
The man ran to his home and was taken to the hospital by his son and friends. The police are currently searching woman, who is at large.
