Pune News: What began as a late-night problem quickly turned into an internet favourite after a Pune man and his friend found themselves locked out on their own balcony in the early hours of the morning.
The incident was shared on Instagram by Mihir Gahukar, who posted a video with the caption, “We got locked in our own balcony at 3 AM, so we did this.” The clip shows the two stranded on their balcony while the rest of the household, including their parents, were asleep inside.
With no access to the house and no way to wake anyone without causing panic, the friends decided to try an unusual solution. They contacted a Blinkit delivery agent and explained their situation over a phone call. In the video, one of the friends can be heard calmly guiding the agent on how to use the house key, unlock the main door and enter quietly.
The instructions were detailed and careful, as the pair wanted to avoid alerting their sleeping parents. Moments later, the video cuts to the delivery agent entering the house and walking towards the balcony. As soon as he reaches them, the friends burst into laughter, relieved that their midnight problem had been solved.

The video has since gone viral, with social media users reacting to both the humour and the risk involved. One user commented, “Imagine your parents woke up to see him entering the house.” Another praised the delivery agent’s presence of mind, writing, “He deserves a good tip for his work, a true hero haha.”
Several users pointed out that the situation could have turned stressful but instead became a light-hearted moment. Many credited the friends’ quick thinking and the delivery agent’s cooperation for turning an awkward situation into a viral clip that amused thousands online.
