Pune Power Outage Today December 11: The residents in Pune's Pimpri-Chinchwad area will face a six-hour-long electricity supply disruption on Thursday as the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) is set to undertake urgent repair and maintenance work.

The maintenance and repair work will be carried out on three key 22 kV feeders. The MSEDCL has planned a shutdown for six hours. The shutdown is likely to affect thousands of homes, commercial units, and other institutions.

According to a report by FPJ, MSEDCL officials have confirmed Thursday to be the designated maintenance day for the city.

Speaking about the power outage, an MSEDCL spokesperson said, "Due to urgent repair and maintenance work under the Pimpri Divisional Office, an electricity outage has been planned in the Pimpri, Chinchwad, and Bhosari areas."

The power outage is necessary as all three 22 kV feeders, Atul Enterprises, Mahindra, and Vikas Nagar,will remain under repair for several hours.

Timings and affected areas

The power supply will be cut at 10:00 AM and will be resumed at 4 PM on Thursday (December 11).

The disruption will affect the following areas:

-Pimpri

-Chinchwad

-Bhosari

The residents of the nearby areas must also brace themselves as apart from the aforementioned areas, other nearby localities may also see intermittent cuts, as per the maintenance requirements throughout the day.

1. Atul Enterprises Feeder: Rajdeep Palace Housing Society, Lakshyadeep Housing Society, Rose Icon Housing Society, Eclectica Home Housing Society, Yashada Avenue Housing Society, Alcove Housing Society, Sai Pearl Housing Society, Vantage Twenty One Housing Society, Sai Platinum Housing Society, Jarvari Housing Society, Vivanta Life Vedika Housing Society, and the rest of Pimple Saudagar and surrounding regions.

2. Mahindra Feeder: Giriraj Vihar, Sukh Nagari, Yashbindu Apartment, Ashwini Hospital, Raghu Mauli Garden, Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Garden, Giriraj Ganesh Mandir and neighbouring areas.

3. Vikas Nagar Feeder: Arihant Housing Society, Dr DY Patil College (Akurdi), Dharmaraj Chowk, Navshantiniketan Housing Society, Krushna Homes Housing Society, Chaitanya Park Housing Society, Ganesh Nagar, MhaskeWasti, ISKCON Temple (Ravet), Nandagiri Housing Society, Vikas Nagar, Adarsh Nagar, Datta Nagar, Dehu Road and nearby zones.
