The Indian epic Mahabharata touches on every facet of human existence. Whether it be selfishness or altruism, brutality or kindness, hate or love, or honesty or righteousness. Maharshi Vyas, the author of the Mahabharata, used these anecdotes to depict the harsh realities of life while keeping the reader entertained. Eklavya is a name that we've all heard of. Don't we all think about Eklavya whenever someone talks about respecting teachers? By bestowing something unique upon his mentor Dronacharya as Guru Dakshina, he has set a beautiful example. Most of us just know, though, that he gave his guru his thumb. However, there’s a lot to learn from the legendary character in Mahabharata. 1. Practice Until You Become Perfect - Eklavya persisted despite teacher Dronacharya's denial of his desire to teach him archery. He repeatedly practised, which is how he improved as an archer.

2. Never Be Afraid To Start From Scratch - Dronacharya refused Eklavya training because he wasn't a member of the Royal family, but despite this, he went on to become the best archer. And that is due to his unwavering commitment and resolve. Therefore, if you have faith in your goals and put in the necessary effort, you can succeed no matter what. One must also do every work with utmost dedication and never be afraid to start from scratch.

3. Do Not Compete With Anyone Else But Yourself - Since he had no one to compare his abilities with, Eklavya went on to become the best archer. Arjuna, the royal prince, was superior to all of his siblings and cousins, but because he constantly compared himself to them, he was unable to succeed as Eklavya did. We may fail to recognise our full potential as a result of the average individuals around us. Since they consistently startled themselves and broke their own records, all the outstanding people in many areas were able to reach those heights.
