1. Kashi Vishwanath Temple - One of the twelve Jyotirlingas devoted to Lord Shiva is Kashi Vishwanath Temple which is located in Varanasi on the western bank of the sacred Ganga river. Lord Shiva, sometimes referred to as Vishwanatha or Vishweshwarar, which means "the ruler of the universe," is the primary deity of the Kashi Vishwanath Temple.

2. Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple - Tulsidas, a poet and saint, constructed this shrine in the sixteenth century. The Assi River is nearer this shrine. This religious location is revered as a sacred space containing a divinity that eases devotee's grief. Sankat Mochan translates to "one who relieves pain and sorrows." 

3. Tulsi Manas Temple - This temple was built on the site where the 16th-century poet Tulsidas penned his well-known Ramcharitmanas. To symbolise the beauty of his creations, a temple was constructed in the 20th century. There are several epic passages and carvings on the temple's inner walls.  

4. Kaal Bhairav Mandir - Lord Shiva in his most ferocious form is prayed to as Kaal Bhairav. Constructed in the 17th century, this Shiva temple is among the most ancient in the city. This temple is regarded as the city's protector temple. Folklore dictates that anyone intending to visit or depart Varanasi must ask this deity's permission. With an indignant expression on his face and a garland made of human skulls around his neck, the god is depicted in the most heinous way imaginable. It is reported that the oil from the temple may heal a variety of ailments, most notably dog bites.

5. Bharat Mata Mandir - This is the only nation-specific religious structure across the entire globe. Mother India is the focus of the Bharat Mata Mandir. The huge marble map that depicts the undivided Indian landscape and has bevel features is the only building at this temple. Freedom fighter Babu Shiv Prasad constructed this temple in 1939.
