Narasimha Jayanti 2024: Lord Narasimha is the fourth incarnation of Lord Vishnu in his half-lion, half-man form, he is highly respected. Several hundred years ago, Lord Vishnu embraced this incarnation in order to vanquish the demon ruler Hiranyakasipu. To destroy the demon and protect His naive disciple, Prahlad, Lord Narsimha materialised from a pole.
Since he protects his devotees in times of danger, Narasimha Deva is referred to as the "great protector". In most depictions, Lord Narasimha is seen with four to sixteen hands, each gripping a different weapon - an axe, conch, mace, or Sudarshan chakra. His eyes are bulging, and he has a fierce expression on his face.
On the occasion of Narasimha Jayanti, devotees can chant various Lord Narasimha Mantras to seek protection from unforeseen dangers and become fearless in life.
Narasimha Jayanti 2024: Lord Narasimha Mantras To Remove Obstacles And Fear
1. Narasimha Bija Mantra
उग्रं विरं महाविवन्नुमज्वलन्तं सर्वतोमुखम्।
नृसिंहं भिसानं भद्रमृत्योर्म्त्यं नमाम्यहम् ||
ugram viram mahavivnum jvalantam sarvatomukham |
Nrsimham bhisanam bhadram mrtyormrtyum namamyaham ||
Benefits: The protective armour of Lord Narasimha, which guards everything sacred and vanquishes all of the chanter's challenges, can be achieved by reciting this mantra with extreme devotion.
2. Narasimha Pranam Mantra
नमस्ते नरसिंहाय प्रह्लादाह्लाद-दायिने।
हिरण्यकशिपोर्वक्षः-शिला-टङ्क-नखालये।।
Namaste narasimhaya, prahladahlada-dayine |
hiranyakasipor vaksah, sila-tanka nakhalaye||
Benefits: This mantra is used to honour Lord Narasimha Dev and, when recited on a regular basis, will release people from debts and insolvency, no matter how severe or acute they are, and give them protection against any prospective adverse circumstances.

3. Narasimha Abhayam Mantra
ओम नमो भगवते नरसिम्हाय नमस तेजस-तेजसे अविर-अविर्भव
वज्र-नख वज्र-दंस्त्र कर्मशयां रंधय रंधय तमो ग्रास ग्रस
ओम स्वाहा; अभयं अभयं आत्मानि भूयिष्ठा ॐ क्ष्रौम्
oṁ namo bhagavate narasiṁhāya namas tejas-tejase āvir-āvirbhava
vajra-nakha vajra-daṁṣṭra karmāśayān randhaya randhaya tamo grasa grasa
om svāhā; abhayam abhayam ātmani bhūyiṣṭhā oṁ kṣraum.
Benefits: It is believed that Prahlad Maharaj performed this mantra for his beloved Lord Narasimha Dev. The devotee who recites this mantra is relieved of anxiety, impediments, and distress. Reciting this miracle mantra might also help one gain confidence and acquire Lord Narasimha's protection.

4. Shree Lakshmi Nrisingh Mantra
।। ॐ ह्रीं क्ष्रौं श्रीं लक्ष्मी नृसिंहाय नमः ।।
।। ॐ क्लीन क्ष्रौं श्रीं लक्ष्मी देव्यै नमः ।।
|| Om Hring Kshraung Shring Lakshmi Nrisinghay Namah ||
|| Om Kling Kshraung Shring Lakshmi Devyai Namah ||
Benefits: One can accumulate financial success and remove all monetary problems through regular chanting of this mantra with utmost devotion.
