Vaishakh Month 2025 Calendar: As per the Hindu Panchang, Vaishakh is the second Hindu lunar month. The name of this sacred month originates from the Vishakha Nakshatra. It is believed that performing charitable deeds, bathing in holy rivers and worshipping Lord Vishnu is highly meritorious during this month. Vaishakh month is considered highly significant as per the Hindu scriptures as it is believed to fulfil desires quickly. This month is believed to be dear to Lord Vishnu as it embodies the essence of Dharma, Yagna and Tapasya.

This virtue-prone month has been linked to Veda Vidya and Pranava mantra in terms of its importance. Performing Snaan before sunrise is valued by Lord Vishnu during this month. The Hindu month of Vaishakh is compared to other superior entities like Kalpa Vriksha, Surya Deva and Kaustubh jewel. The month is filled with significant Hindu festivals and events like Parshurama Jayanti, Sita Navami, Akshaya Tritiya, Ganga Saptami, Narasimha Jayanti among many others, with Ekadashi being particularly auspicious.

Performing Snaan, Daan, Homa and Deva Puja during this month yields favourable results. Hindu scriptures suggest that individuals suffering from illness, poverty or other issues can alleviate their problems by performing virtuous deeds on Ekadashi. Additionally, Vaishakh Amavasya is considered to be ideal for performing Pitru Puja, Shraddh, Pinda daan and Til Tarpan in honour of ancestors. As per Hindu beliefs, the significance of Vaishakh month is compared to the Satya Yuga.
