Goat India Tour: The second leg of Lionel Messi's ongoing GOAT tour in Hyderabad was quite opposite to what happened in Kolkata, as the fans at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium had a great experience. With what happened in Kolkata, the expectations were low for the Hyderabad event.

The organisers learnt from the mistakes of the first leg, which led to better crowd management, and the fans also enjoyed this experience at the stadium.

The evening started with a friendly match between Revanth Reddy 9s and Aparna All-Stars. A few minutes after kick-off, the fans started roaring Messi's name when he entered the venue along with his teammates. Rahul Gandhi was also present at the stadium, whereas Telangana's Chief Minister also joined in, as he scored a goal in the friendly and helped his team lead by 4-0.

ENTER MESSI AND CO

The match was stopped halfway when Messi, Luis Suarez, and Rodrigo De Paul entered the ground. When Messi was in Kolkata, he was escorted by security personnel and VIPs, but the situation improved in Hyderabad. The Chief Minister made sure that Messi wasn't crowded when he came on the field.

And then a series of fan-friendly moments occurred. Messi, along with his teammates, was seen participating in kickabouts with the CM and the kids, and he also talked to them and was seen smiling. Mesi was seen taking laps around the venue and also tried to enjoy the atmosphere.

Messi, along with his teammates, was seen kicking footballs towards the stands. The fans appreciated these gestures and made sure that they enjoyed a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

MESSI ADDRESSES HYDERABAD

The evening ended with a presentation ceremony, where Messi was seen acknowledging the fans in Spanish. He expressed gratitude to them for their love and support, and that he was honoured to be in India.

"I just wanted to thank you for the love today and always. Honestly, I saw many things before arriving here, throughout all this time, during the last World Cup. And well, thank you very much for all the affection. Itโ€™s an honor for us to be able to share these days here in India with you. So Iโ€™m very grateful. Thank you very much," Messi said in the presentation ceremony.

Rahul Gandhi too had a small conversation with Messi in the post-match presentation.

After what happened in Kolkata, Hyderabad made sure that this ongoing tour was reset. They planned it better, had better access, and with full focus on fans, made sure that this tour lived up to expectations.
