Paris Olympics 2024: A mother's love is a force to be reckoned with as it can also prevent wars from happening worldwide. Both Arshad Nadeem and Neeraj Chopra's mothers have set an example by celebrating their son's achievements and also wishing the best for their opponents, especially when they are friends. Arshad Nadeem's mother rejoiced with his historic triumph in the summit clash of the men's javelin event at the ongoing mega-event. Neeraj's mother Saroj revealed that Arshad is just like her son. Arshad's mother too shared the same sentiments and said that Neeraj is also her son like Arshad.
"He (Neeraj) is also like my son. He is Nadeem's friend and also his brother. Wins and losses are part of the sport. May god bless him, and may he win medals. They are like brothers, I've prayed for Neeraj too," Arshad's mother was quoted as saying to a news channel. Both Arshad and Neeraj share great camaraderie off the field irrespective of being fierce rivals to each other. Neeraj has also backed Nadeem a few times.
"I am thankful to the entire Pakistan for the support they lent to Nadeem, the prayers they offered for my son," she added.

The Neeraj-Arshad bond
Both Arshad and Neeraj have shared great camaraderie and also have mutual respect. Their mothers also showed their selfless nature and won the hearts of the fans by making heartwarming comments.
"We are happy with the silver. The one who got the gold (Arshad Nadeem) is also my child," Saroj Devi said, which displayed a spirit of sportsmanship and humanity, that goes beyond the fierce competition of the sport.
Arshad Nadeem went past Neeraj Chopra and clinched the gold medal at the Paris Olympics 2024 by throwing at a distance of 92.97m on Thursday. At the same time, silver medalist Neeraj Chopra won consecutive Olympic medals by throwing at his season-best record of 89.4 m.
