Sharing a post on X, (formerly Twitter), the ace shooter wrote, “For all those who are asking me what has changed in my life after I won the medals: NOTHING.”
Manu is currently on a break from training and has been spending quality time with her close and loved ones. “I am the same Manu Bhaker and enjoying my break,” she wrote.
She went on to provide an update on her return to the shooting range and wrote, “I will return to the shooting ranges in November and start training again.”
Amid heavy trolling of her for several reasons, Manu concluded her social media post with a thank you note for her supporters. “Thanks for your love and attention. Manu,” she concluded.
Competing in her second Olympics, Manu Bhaker became the first-ever athlete in independent India to win multiple medals in the same edition of the sporting extravaganza.
She first made headlines for winning a bronze medal in the women’s 10-metre air pistol event before adding another crown while teaming up with Sarabjot Singh to land a second bronze in the mixed team event of the 10-metre air pistol.
