Nothing Phone (2) appears to have generated a lot of hype in the tech business, and as a result, firms like Infinix are already planning to release a smartphone with a very similar design. Not only is Infinix preparing to release a similar design, but the rumour also indicates that Tecno is intending to launch the Pova 5 Pro in India with an LED-backlit design, but with RGB lights.
Earlier, Infinix announced that it would be introducing the semi-transparent glass back design with LED strips with its GT series phone, and now Tecno is following the line. According to the reports, the Tecno Pova 5 Pro is expected to make its debut next month. E-commerce platform Amazon has also shared the teaser of the phone, which highlights the phone is coming soon. However, the company has not announced any official launch date at the time of writing.
The smartphone is confirmed to feature LED lights at the rear panel to provide a different experience to users, by Amazon’s teaser.
While, we are denoting it as the RGB strips, the brand calls it Arc Interface. According to tipster Ishan Agarwal, the new RGB light strips will tell the users about the notifications, and incoming calls just by blinking. Further, he mentioned that it can be customised and the users will be able to set different colours for the calls.
Speaking of the optics, the smartphone is said to get a dual camera setup and a decent front camera for the series.
The looks highlight a new design with strips of textured surface, which might be for a better grip. It looks pretty good, and it remains to be seen, whether the company will offer customisations or not.
The price segment of the smartphones also remains a mystery as of now, and it is unknown in which category the smartphone will be introduced, but, it is said that the device will feature a massive battery pack and fast charging option. More details are still awaited.
