Airtel 5G Coverage: Airtel, a leading telecom service provider, has announced that it is rolling out its 5G services in all districts of Gujarat, Karnataka, Odisha, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal and Union Territory of Dadra, Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu within a year of releasing 5G services. For the unversed, Jio and Airtel are among the telecom companies that are expanding 5G coverage in India at a rapid pace.

According to Airtel's press release, the company has more than 2.2 million 5G subscribers in Gujarat. For a detailed glimpse of the coverage, here is a list of states where 5G is available in all regions.

Gujarat

The company highlighted Rann of Kutch, Dwarka, Kevadia, Sabarmati, Ahmedabad, Patan and Atal Bridge among the latest beneficiaries of 5G.

Karnataka

With state-wide service availability for 5.1 million connections, the telcos stressed 5G coverage in Kodagu, Mysuru, Bengaluru Mangalore, Chikmagalur, and Hampi in the release.

Odisha

In the state, the coverage expands from Konda Kambera, Konark, Bhubaneswar, Gopalpur, Puri, Chilika Lake, Raghurajpur and more regions.

Punjab

In the north-Indian state, the highlighted coverage spans from Amritsar, Bathinda, Wagah Border and Qila Raipur as the 5G beneficiaries to help two million unique 5G subscribers.

Tamil Nadu

The 5G coverage in the southern state now spans across Ooty, Madurai, Thoothukudi, Kanyakumari, Chennai and Mahabalipuram and serves a population of 4.2 million.

West Bengal

Available in all districts, Airtel highlights Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Chandannagar, Bishnupur and Eden Gardens in the release to serve 1.6 million 5G users.

To use 5G in these states, you must have an Airtel 5G SIM card and a 5G-compatible device. To add icing on the cake, the firm is offering unlimited 5G data on select 5G plans. Plus, the company also introduced its Airtel Xstream Air Fiber Wi-Fi service in Delhi and Mumbai.
