Amazon Prime Lite Subscription Plan: Shopping giant Amazon announced the Prime Lite subscription in India earlier this year. The plan was the cheaper alternative to the Annual Prime plan, which currently costs Rs 1,499. The subscription debuted at a lower price and a slight compromise on the bundled benefits compared to the Annual Prime plan.

Debuted at a regular price of Rs 999, the Prime Lite plan now costs Rs 799. For starters, the new plan offers Amazon Prime Video, free delivery (to eligible addresses) and early access to deals. Here are all the benefits highlighted by the e-commerce giant on the "Prime Lite Membership Benefits" page.

Free Delivery To Eligible Addresses: The page highlights "one-day delivery, two-day delivery, scheduled delivery and same-day delivery" and no-rush shipping for select addresses and Rs 25 cashback. You can also schedule morning delivery to eligible locations at Rs 175/item. Plus, no minimum order value is required to claim free standard delivery.

Amazon Pay ICICI Bank Credit Card: Prime members can claim a five per cent discount on the official website during the purchase (Digital and Gift Card shopping exempted).

Prime Video: Buyers can enjoy Amazon Prime Video content on one device in HD quality. However, ads will appear during media playback. The content is available on Android and iOS applications, subject to the brand terms.

Amazon Early Deals: With Prime membership, buyers can avail early access to Lightning Deals and exclusive access to Lightning Deals and Deals of the Day.

Lastly, customers can also check out no-cost EMI offers, six-month free screen replacement and other family offers, subject to brand terms. While the plan lacks benefits such as Amazon Music, Prime Gaming, and Prime Reading, it can be a good pick for users who wish to buy a Prime plan at a cheaper cost and are not interested in these extras.
