Samsung, one of the major smartphone brands which are expected to get the Android 14 soon, is reportedly going to roll out the One UI 6.0 Android 14 Beta program for the flagship Galaxy S23 series on August 2. It will be followed by the beta program for the Galaxy A series smartphones, starting with Galaxy A34 and Galaxy A54, on August 9.
According to the report by SamMobile citing German customer support, the South Korean giant will start testing the OneUI 6 beta starting early next month. Earlier, it was reported that the Galaxy S23 beta program was said to roll out in July but it did not happen. Samsung has also added the OneUI 6.0 section to the community forums in India and the US, the report added.
It was also not expected that Samsung will bring the Android 14 and the new OneUI 6.0 Beta for the A series so soon. Looking at the pattern, the company always opens the new generation beta program for flagship phones and then rolls it out for mid-range phones after some time. However, it is good that Samsung also takes mid-range phones as its top priority along with its flagship.
Meanwhile, the users are waiting for OneUI 5.1.1, the beta version of which was released for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Tab S8 in the initial days of this month. With the launch of Galaxy Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5, and Tab S9, the company has made it official. All the devices will run on the One UI 5.1.1 and will be rolled out to other devices as well by next month. However, the OneUI 5.1.1 release date is still unclear. Also, the rollout date of OneUI 6.0 Beta is not confirmed.
