Android 15 features are among the top searches and are expected to be announced along with the Google Pixel 9 series at the Made By Google 2024 event. While the release date and features are yet to be confirmed, the Android 15 Developer Preview 1 is already out and has confirmed a variety of new upcoming features. Below are Android 15 features that you may see in this year’s update.

1. Satellite Connectivity Support

Android 15 may include better Satellite Connectivity support with new components and APIs, allowing applications to detect satellite connections and use them for purposes other than emergency messaging.

2. Notification Cooldown

Google seems to be working on organising things and may soon declutter the user notification experience by reducing the volume of successive notifications from the same app.

3. Camera Controls

The company is expected to bring more streamlined camera controls with features like low light enhancements and precise flash adjustments for better photography.

4. Sensitive Notifications

Android 15 may address another safety feature and may prevent some of the malicious applications from reading your OTPs or important texts.

5. Bluetooth Toggle

Quick Settings, which allow users to connect or disconnect various devices based on connectivity requirements, may be included in the upcoming Android version. Android 15 will provide a popup that will allow you to manage Bluetooth, including pairing new devices, accessing their settings page, and connecting and disconnecting from specific devices.

6. Health Connect

Health Connect and other features may come with a variety of updates which will help the users take their health better.

7. Edge-To-Edge Apps By Default And Home Controls Screensaver

Android 15 optimises screen real estate and provides convenient access to Google Home devices even when the device is idle, thanks to its Home Controls screensaver and emphasis on cutting-edge app design.

8. Private Space And Enhanced Desktop Mode

The Private Space feature will offer surfing on desktop mode and offer users more privacy and productivity, giving the users the option of customisation.

9. Voice Activation Feature and Easy Pre-Set Mode

Android 15 will bring a voice activation feature for users offering users hands-free access and more precise readability, navigation and more for the users who have different tasks in hand.

10. Battery Health Percentage

Last but the least, the Android 15 may get the dedicated battery health percentage tracking which will let them figure out the device's health.
