Apple October Event 2023: Apple announced the new iMac All-in-One, MacBook Pro laptops and new M3 chips at the "Scary Fast" event today. While the products are all up in the headlines, the iPhone 15 Pro Max turned eyeballs as soon as the official note from CEO Tim Cook ended. This was because Apple revealed the entire footage was shot on the latest top-end flagship handset.

According to the Cupertino-based tech giant, the 30-minute event was "shot on iPhone and edited on Mac." Considering Apple has the high-end hardware to edit such heavy clips, the Mac was a no-brainer. However, skipping professional cameras and switching to a pocket-sized device to shoot a launch event seems a daring move by Apple.

"All presenters, locations, and drone footage shot on iPhone 15 Pro Max," Apple noted in the Scary Fast event clip. This will likely act in favour of Apple as the company talked at length about the video capabilities of the flagship at the "Wanderlust" showcase.

It was probably an attempt to put the sensors to the test and surprise the viewers to cement their claims. However, a reader must note that these clips would have likely undergone a lot of editing, including colour grading, footage adjustments and more, to make them look even more appealing. Plus, considering the output, professional gear and camerapersons were likely involved in shooting the clip.
