Apple iPhone Sock: Apple has already unveiled its flagship series smartphones for this year, the iPhone 17 series. The device saw mixed reactions from the public, with some absolutely loving it and others not quite so much, and let's not forget about the hefty price tag the devices come with. Now Apple has introduced yet another limited edition accessory for its iPhone, and this new product is generating a lot of buzz, but it might not be for the right reasons.
The new product being dubbed as the iPhone Pocket is developed in collaboration with Japanese fashion label Issey Miyake; this new accessory serves as a luxury "sock" for your iPhone. Meant to bring back memories of the early 2000s iPod Socks, Apple’s new iPhone Pocket takes that retro charm and turns it into something sleek, minimalist, and unmistakably premium.

Crafted from a 3D-knitted, stretchable fabric, the iPhone Pocket hugs your device like a second skin. It’s not just an accessory—it’s a small piece of wearable design. The fabric flexes enough for you to glance at notifications without even pulling your phone out, blending convenience with a bit of fashion flair.
The pricing, however, makes it clear this isn’t a nostalgia trip for everyone. The short-strap model costs $149.95 (around ₹12,900), while the long-strap, cross-body version will set you back $229.95 (around ₹20,300).
What elevates this further is the collaboration behind it. The iPhone Pocket is designed by Issey Miyake’s studio—the same creative force that gave Steve Jobs his iconic black turtleneck. That influence shows in the clean lines, subtle textures, and effortless blend of function and fashion.
Apple’s latest accessory can be styled multiple ways: sling it across your body, wear it on your wrist, or clip it onto a handbag. The short-strap version arrives in lemon, mandarin, purple, pink, peacock, sapphire, cinnamon, and black, while the longer one keeps things more refined with sapphire, cinnamon, and black.
Don’t expect to find it everywhere, though. Apple is treating this as a limited-edition drop, available only in select regions—namely the US, UK, France, Italy, Japan, China, Singapore, and South Korea. Select Apple Stores will showcase it for hands-on viewing, but availability is expected to be tight.
Starting Friday, November 14, the iPhone Pocket will go on sale online and in select Apple Stores across these markets. Whether you see it as a piece of functional fashion or just a luxe callback to the iPod era, Apple has once again managed to turn something as simple as a fabric sleeve into a statement.
