APPLE iPhone 15 series and other next-generation products which are set to debut later this year have already become subject to leaks. The rumour mill has already suggested a series of new upgrades that the iPhone 15 and the top-end iPhone 15 Pro could get. Additionally, there are plenty of speculations that the company could discontinue the iPhone 15 Pro Max and introduce an all-new iPhone 15 Ultra.

Here are the series of new upgrades that the next generation iPhone 15 series can reportedly get:

1. A17 Chipset:

With the new generation of iPhones, the company is expected to introduce the next-gen A17 bionic chip which is expected to be based on TSMC's 3nm process. However, the iPhone 15 and Plus variants could get the old A16 bionic chipsets.

2. Titanium Frame and Curved Bezels:

The company is expected to get a titanium frame to give it a more premium feel. It would be a considerable upgrade from stainless steel. Additionally, the company is expected to introduce the next-generation smartphone with curved bezels (around the display).

3. USB Type C Port:

Looking at the conditions, the all-new iPhone 15 Pro is expected to make a debut with lightning-fast USB 3.2 or Thunderbolt, claimed Ming-Chi Kuo, an Apple analyst. This could be because the company is planning to provide consumers with faster data transfer speeds as compared to iPhone 14 and lower series.

4. Wi-Fi 6E:

The all-new iPhone 15 Pro could get Wi-Fi 6E technology for much faster wireless speeds, according to the rumour mill.

5. Solid-state buttons:

Kuo claims that the volume and power buttons on the iPhone 15 Pro models will be solid-state. According to the analyst, the devices will include two more Taptic Engines, which simulate the feeling of pressing buttons without actually moving them, much like the Home button on the most recent iPhone SE or the trackpad on more recent MacBooks.

6. Increased RAM:

The all-new iPhone 15 Pro could get increased RAM which would allow users to multitask better.

7. Optical Zoom:

The iPhone 15 Pro could get a periscope telephoto lens with at least 6x optical zoom which is much better than the iPhone 14 Pro Max.
