Along with an updated iPhone SE that will serve as a new low-end model, Apple is set to start producing new iPad Air models, according to a Bloomberg report on Tuesday, which cited persons familiar with the matter.
According to the rumour, the updated Apple goods should be available in the first part of 2019. This is the model's first update since Apple introduced 5G and a speedier A15 Bionic CPU to the iPhone SE in 2022. With the mid-range smartphone market, the strategy allows the company to more effectively compete with giants in the sector like Xiaomi, Samsung, and others.
The iPhone SE, which retails for $429, is considered by many to be the most economical model in the series. According to the report, the business is also working on an upgraded Magic Keyboard accessory, codenamed R307 and R308, for the next Air's 11- and 13-inch models. The J607 and J637 codenames for the new iPad Air devices were meant to be internal updates.

Rumour has it that the future SE phone would enable Apple Intelligence, the company's artificial intelligence software.
