Apple announced its refreshed MacBook Air laptops with an M3 processor in 13-inch and 15-inch screen sizes on March 4. The models are now on sale in India. It is available for purchase across Apple's official website and offline stores. Apart from the factory-made screen size and colours, you can customise the RAM, storage, charging adapter and pre-installed software with your purchase.

Apple MacBook Air M3 Price vs MacBook Air M2 Price

MacBook Air M2 Price (13-inch): On the official website, the 13-inch MacBook Air with M2 chip is available in two variants: 8GB + 256GB (with 8-core GPU and 30W USB-C adapter) and an 8GB + 512GB (10-core GPU and 35W adapter). The base trim costs Rs 99,990, and the 512GB model is available at Rs 1,19,900 (price-sensitive customisation options available on both models). You can also check out deals on third-party retailers such as Croma, Reliance Digital and others if you are looking for a better price.

MacBook Air M3 Price (13-inch): The new 13-inch trim comes in three options: 8GB + 256GB, 8GB + 512GB (10-core GPU) and 16GB + 512GB (10-core GPU). The base trim is available for Rs 1,14,900. The mid-trim costs Rs 1,34,900, and the top-end 16GB variant is available for Rs 1,54,900.

MacBook Air M3 Price (15-inch): The 15-inch model comes in 8GB + 256GB, 8GB + 512GB and 16GB + 512GB trims with a 10-core GPU as standard. The laptop's base model is available for Rs 1,34,900, the mid-variant is priced at Rs 1,54,900, and the top-end costs Rs 1,74,900.

All models come in Midnight, Starlight, Space Grey, and Silver. Customers can avail up to Rs 8,000 discount on select MacBook models via eligible HDFC Bank cards.

Apple MacBook Air M3 Specifications

The 13-inch MacBook Air has an M3 processor with an 8-core CPU, up to 10-core GPU and 16-core Neural Engine. It has a 13.6-inch IPS screen with 500nits peak brightness and 2560x1664 resolution. The 13-inch device also gets a four-speaker system.

As for the MacBook Air 15-inch, it comes with a 15.3-inch IPS screen with 500nits peak brightness and 2880x1864 resolution. Under the hood, the device gets an M3 chip with an 8-core CPU, 10-core GPU and 16-core Neural Engine. It offers a six-speaker system.

All machines run macOS Sonoma and offer a range of AI-powered features. The laptops have a Backlit Magic Keyboard. As for connectivity, both trims offer Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, a MagSafe 3 charging port, a headphone jack, and two Thunderbolt/USB 4 ports.

You can upgrade the RAM and storage to up to 24GB and 2TB on all models. They also have a 1080p FaceTime HD camera and Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos support on the audio setup. On the top-end trim of 13-inch and all variants of the 15-inch model, the device ships with a 35W adapter and others offer a 30W adapter.
