MacBook Air 2024 Price: Apple, a Cupertino-based tech giant, has launched the MacBook Air laptops in India with an M3 processor. The new laptops offer a faster Neural Engine and two screen sizes: 13-inch and 15-inch. The launch comes after MacRumors reported that Apple could make a product announcement this week.

Apple MacBook Air 2024 Specifications

The new laptops come with a Liquid Retina IPS display with two screen options: 13.6-inch and 15.3‑inch and up to 500nits brightness. Under the hood, it gets a 3nm M3 chip with an 8-core CPU and up to 10-core GPU and support for up to 24GB memory. The company claims it is 60 per cent faster than the M1 model.

It comes with a 16-core Neural Engine and Apple touts it as the "world's best consumer laptop for AI" with AI-based features in the camera, real-time speech-to-text, translation, visual understanding, text predictions, accessibility features, and more. The new MacBook Air runs "optimised AI models, including large language models (LLMs) and diffusion models for image generation locally," the company noted.

The latest MacBook Air runs on macOS Sonoma. For a smooth typing experience, it comes with a Backlit Magic Keyboard. Apple claims a battery life of up to 18 hours and MagSafe charging to recoup the backup. As for connectivity, it offers Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, two Thunderbolt ports and a headphone jack. It also has Touch ID, a 1080p FaceTime HD camera and a speaker system with Spatial Audio and Dolby Atmos.
