Apple has just pulled the wraps off its new 14-inch MacBook Pro (2025), powered by the all-new M5 chip. Alongside it, updates to the iPad Pro and Vision Pro headset are also on the way. The latest lineup brings faster performance, subtle design tweaks, and sets the stage for Apple’s next wave of pro-level hardware.
MacBook Pro 14-inch (2025): M5 Power and XDR Brilliance
The latest 14-inch MacBook Pro is powered by the M5 chip, which has four performance cores, six efficiency cores, a 10-core GPU, and a 16-core Neural Engine. It provides enhanced power efficiency and improved heat control along with Apple's signature design in the form of a backlit keyboard, Dolby Atmos speakers, and a Liquid Retina XDR display.
The 14.2-inch screen provides 3024×1964 resolution, a 120 Hz ProMotion refresh rate, and 1,600 nits peak brightness, which is perfect for power users and creators. Storage capacity ranges to 1TB SSD, and unified memory is available at 16GB or 24GB.
Pricing and Availability
The MacBook Pro 14-inch (M5) begins at ₹1,69,900 in the 16GB RAM + 512GB SSD option, with the bigger storage and memory models costing as much as ₹2,09,900. The iPad Pro update and Vision Pro launches are likely to arrive within weeks, before the holiday season.
Updated iPad Pro
Apple has launched the new iPad Pro with the M5 chip, delivering major improvements in performance, AI, and graphics. It comes in 11-inch and 13-inch models with storage options from 256GB to 2TB, and RAM of 12GB for smaller storage models and 16GB for larger ones. The tablet supports Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, and cellular connectivity through the C1X modem.

The M5 chip provides up to 3.5 times faster AI performance than the previous generation, with a next-generation GPU and Neural Accelerator in each core. Pricing in India starts at ₹99,990 for the 11-inch Wi-Fi model and ₹1,29,900 for the 13-inch Wi-Fi model, with higher prices for cellular variants. Pre-orders are open now, and the iPad Pro M5 will be available starting October 22, 2025.
