Apple has now added the out-of-warranty repair costs for their newest iPhone lineup, the iPhone 17 series consisting of the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max, and the iPhone Air. The news follows Apple’s own “Awe Dropping” ceremony earlier this week, with the devices due to go on sale worldwide from September 19 after pre-orders opened today.

iPhone 17 Series Repair Pricing

Apple’s repair costs remain consistent with its premium positioning, with notable differences across the four models.

Battery Replacement

  • iPhone 17: ₹9,800
  • iPhone 17 Pro / Pro Max / Air: ₹11,800

For battery replacement Apple says:

“AppleCare+ includes battery service coverage, which means that your battery can be replaced at no charge if we test your product and its battery retains less than 80% of its original capacity.”

Screen Repair (Cracked Display)

  • iPhone 17 / Pro / Air: ₹32,900
  • iPhone 17 Pro Max: ₹38,900

If you have Apple Care +, then your repair cost comes down to 2,500 for the entire lineup iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and iPhone Air.

Back Glass Replacement

  • All models: ₹14,900

If you have Apple Care +, then your repair cost comes down to 2,500 for all the models.

Screen + Back Glass Bundle

  • iPhone 17 / Pro / Air: ₹40,500
  • iPhone 17 Pro Max: ₹46,800

If you have Apple Care +, then your repair cost comes down to 5,000 for Apple Air, and all iPhone 17 models.

Rear Camera Replacement

  • iPhone 17 / Air: ₹16,900

If you have Apple Care +, then your repair cost comes down to 8,900 for all Apple smartphones launched in Awe dropping event of 2025.

AppleCare+ Advantage

These repair prices are only for customers without AppleCare+. For AppleCare+ plan users the service fees are much lower, which is one of the reasons we recommend it as an add-on for anyone concerned about accidental damage.
