Apple has already introduced the iPad Mini and the fans are waiting for the next-generation Macs. The rumours suggest that Apple could bring the new Macs anytime soon. Now, Apple has reportedly confirmed that it will be introducing the new Macs next week.

Taking to X, Apple’s Grek Joswiak asked his followers to mark their calendars for new announcements starting Monday morning. “Mac your calendars! We have an exciting week of announcements ahead, starting on Monday morning. Stay tuned,” he said.

Speaking of devices, the new Macs will be powered by the M4 chipset. The M4 Pro and M4 Max chipsets are expected to power the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models, respectively. The Mac Mini is also expected to be powered by M4 and M4 Pro models. The iMac is also expected to receive an M4 processor upgrade.

The reports also hint that Apple will prioritise performance above design and other changes. However, the Mac Mini is expected to undergo significant architectural revisions and might become the company's smallest desktop computer to date. The M4 MacBooks are believed to include 16GB of RAM instead of 8GB to support Apple Intelligence features.

MacBook Air lovers may have to wait a little longer, as Bloomberg reports that the MacBook Air M4 will appear in early 2025. It is worth noting that the MacBook Air received a new edition in June 2023.

Meanwhile, Apple has introduced the iOS 18.2 developer beta with all the Apple Intelligence features including Image Playground, Genmoji, Visual Intelligence and ChatGPT for Siri integration. Apple has not announced the public release date but it is likely to roll out for the users in the US next month.
