Apple unveiled the Mac mini, a brand-new device that packs an amazing level of horsepower into a much smaller package that measures only 5 by 5 inches and is powered by the M4 and new M4 Pro CPUs. The design was created around Apple silicon.
Compared to the M1 model, the M4 Mac mini offers up to 1.8x faster CPU and 2.2x faster GPU performance. The sophisticated technologies in M4 are scaled up with M4 Pro to handle even more taxing tasks.
Apple claims that the M4 Pro model has front and back ports for easier connectivity and, for the first time, Thunderbolt 5 for higher data transfer speeds. Additionally, Apple Intelligence, the personal intelligence system that revolutionises user work, communication, and self-expression while safeguarding privacy, is incorporated into the new Mac mini.

"Users will feel the performance of M4 in everything they do, from multitasking across everyday productivity apps to creative projects like video editing, music production, or writing and compiling code," Apple stated.
With the fastest CPU core in the world and lightning-fast single-threaded performance, the Mac mini with M4 Pro is ideal for those seeking pro-level performance. On-device Apple Intelligence models operate at lightning speed thanks to the M4 Pro's Neural Engine, which is also more than three times quicker than the Mac mini with M1. To speed up AI workloads, the M4 Pro has twice the bandwidth of any AI PC processor, with up to 64GB of unified memory and 273GB/s of memory bandwidth.
Apple's senior vice president of Hardware Engineering, John Ternus, stated, "The new Mac mini delivers gigantic performance in an unbelievably small design thanks to the power efficiency of Apple silicon and an innovative new thermal architecture."Combined with the performance of M4 and the new M4 Pro chip, enhanced connectivity on both the front and back, and the arrival of Apple Intelligence, the Mac mini is more capable and versatile than ever, and there is nothing else like it."
The Mac mini is one-twentieth the size and up to six times faster than the top-selling PC desktop in its price bracket. The Mac mini with M4 is a little powerhouse for a variety of users, including students, aspiring creatives, and small business owners. In addition to having a 10-core CPU and GPU, the Mac mini with M4 now comes with 16GB of unified memory.

The new Mac mini, which has 16GB of memory and starts at low Rs 59,900, is already available for pre-order and will be available on November 8.
