APPLE, a California-based technology company that has long been a player in the health and wellness space, is reportedly working on an artificial intelligence-based health coaching service as well as emotion-tracking technology. The company hopes to achieve this by providing users with a more comprehensive and personalised approach to their health and well-being.
In a recent report by Bloomberg, the company is all set to launch its coaching service with the name Quartz which will help users stay motivated to exercise, improve their eating habits, and sleep better. With this move, the company aims to use AI and data from the Apple Watch to create a more personalised coaching program for individuals. However, the company has not announced the AI coaching assistant but is expected to launch it soon.
Furthermore, Apple's Quartz would be very similar to LumiHealth, which was launched in collaboration with the Singapore government in 2020, according to the reports. However, unlike LumiHealth, which provides monetary benefits to users, the Apple Quartz is expected to have a subscription model and may require users to pay some money. Additionally, the report also suggests that the service could be introduced next year but can be postponed or cancelled.
By the end of this year, the business will reportedly add more AI-powered tools to its well-liked health application in order to manage vision conditions and track emotions. The business adds that the emotion might let users record their moods, respond to questions about their days, and monitor their progress over time.
Meanwhile, the company at its annual WWDC 2023 happening between the first and second week of June is said to launch new iPads, a highly anticipated mixed-reality headset, and the next generation iOS 17, iPadOS 17 among others. Additionally, the company is expected to announce more new tools for the massive user base.
