The iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max are shaping up to be some of Apple’s most talked-about flagships in recent years. Slated for a launch in September 2025—likely between the 11th and 13th—the Pro models will arrive alongside the standard iPhone 17 and a new addition to the lineup, the iPhone 17 Air. Pre-orders are expected to begin shortly after the reveal, with sales rolling out soon after.

If leaks are to be believed, this year’s Pro models could come with a noticeable design shift. While display sizes are expected to stay the same—6.3 inches for the iPhone 17 Pro and 6.9 inches for the Pro Max—Apple might replace the titanium frame with aluminium and introduce a new half-glass rear design. The camera bump could also get a makeover, moving from the familiar square layout to a broader rectangular one.

On the camera front, Apple is reportedly stepping things up. The front-facing camera may jump to 24 MP, while the rear setup could see three 48 MP sensors—wide, ultra-wide, and telephoto. Other anticipated features include 8K video recording, a dual video mode, and even a mechanical aperture for sharper low-light and portrait photography.

Under the hood, both devices are expected to run on the new A19 Pro chip, with up to 12GB of RAM. Colour options may stick with the classics—Black, White, and Gold—but a fresh Sky Blue variant is also likely to join the mix.

As for pricing in India, early rumours suggest the iPhone 17 Pro could start at around ₹1,39,999, while the Pro Max might be priced at ₹1,64,999.

Of course, these details are all based on early leaks and speculation, so nothing’s official just yet. But if even half of it pans out, the iPhone 17 Pro lineup could be one of the biggest upgrades in recent memory.
