ASUS ROG has finally introduced the next-generation flagship ROG Phone 8 series in the global market including India. The new smartphone series comes with a new design and more powerful specifications which will offer an enhanced gaming experience. Not only that, the ROG Phone 8 series gets slimmer bezels, a better screen and a lighter body.
ASUS ROG Phone 8 And Phone 8 Pro Specifications:
ASUS ROG Phone 8 gets the 6.78-inch (2400×1080 pixels) Full HD+ 1-120Hz LTPO (max 165Hz for gaming) Samsung E6 AMOLED screen with 10-bit HDR and 20:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone gets up to 2,500 nits of peak brightness. The screen is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. Under the hood, the smartphones draw their power from the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 4nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 750 GPU. The ROG 8 series is offered with up to 24 GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1 TB UFS 4.0 storage. Both the devices run on Android 14-based ROG UI out of the box. The smartphones are backed by 5500mAh (typical) with 65W Hyper charge fast charging.

In terms of prominent features and connectivity, the ROG 8 series gets a 3.5mm audio jack, dual speakers, 5-magnet stereo speaker, Dirac Virtuo for Headphone Spatial Sound, Tri-microphones with ASUS Noise Reduction Technology and In-display fingerprint sensor.
Speaking of the optics, the smartphones get a 50 MP Sony IMX890 primary shooter with Gimbal stabilisation. It also gets a 13MP ultra-wide sensor with a 32 MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and optical image stabilisation. For selfies, the smartphone gets a 32 MP front camera.
