ASUS India, Republic of Gamers (ROG), today announced the launch of the all-new ROG Strix Scar 16 & 18 laptops, as well as the upgraded ROG Strix Scar 17, Zephyrus M16, and Zephyrus Duo 16.

The Strix Scar 16/18 and Zephyrus M16 feature the latest 13th generation Intel core processor, whereas the Strix Scar 17 and Zephyrus Duo 16 feature AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX. These gaming machines are designed to deliver top-of-the-line gaming and content creation experiences, living up to the ASUS motto of "In search of Incredible." Following a successful global debut at CES 2023, the laptops are now poised to take the Indian gaming industry by storm.

ROG Strix Scar 16 And 18:

The updated Strix Scar 16 and 18 laptops have a new and improved design. A clean cut across the lid in black conveys a discrete and sleek appearance, and the same design is replicated across the keyboard as well.

The newly designed Customizable Armour Caps brighten up the chassis. They are smaller but magnetically held in place. If you want to personalise your look, the Armour cap can be 3D printed.

Scar laptops continue the tradition by including artful Aura Sync accents to illuminate your creativity. The metallic ROG logo on the top lid and the keyboard both have RGB shine, and the keyboard allows for per-key personalization. It elevates Windows 11 gaming to a new level. It's equipped with the most recent Intel CPU, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4000 series GPU with MUX Switch, and all-new blazing-fast DDR5 RAM.

A 150W+25W max TGP GPU designed for high frame rates in modern titles drives up to a QHD 240Hz display with Adaptive Sync. This means you should only be concerned with the competition, not your device. The new 18-inch display provides immersive gameplay as well as additional screen space for content creation or viewing.

ROG Strix Scar 17 Specifications:

The new Strix Scar 17 has a clean cut across the lid that is black in colour and looks sleeker and more discrete. The same can be said for the keyboard deck. The Scar, as always, comes with artistic Aura Sync accents to illuminate your creativity. The new metallic ROG logo and keyboard with per-key RGB personalization shine brightly. More LEDs cast a uniform glow around the chassis's base and across the strategic slice beneath the screen. It is powered by an AMD Ryzen 9 7945 HX Mobile Processor and can support up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 Laptop GPU with MUX Switch and lightning-fast DDR5 RAM.

Designed for high frame rates in modern titles, a 150W+25W max TGP GPU drives up to a QHD 240Hz display with Adaptive Sync.

Zephyrus M16 Specifications:

The 16" display on the new Zephyrus M16 provides an extremely immersive screen experience, thanks to the 92% screen-to-body ratio and super narrow bezels, and it sits at the center of any laptop.

The 16:10 aspect ratio maximises screen real estate even more. High-fidelity gaming is buttery smooth with a sharp QHD resolution and a 240Hz/3ms panel that supports G-Sync/ Adaptive Sync. With 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage, Pantone Validation, Dolby Vision, and up to 1100 nits of peak brightness, the M16's ROG Nebula Display HDR is ideal for content creators as well as gamers.

Under the hood is a 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13900H CPU paired with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 GPU, allowing you to game or create without restriction. The upgraded MUX switch with Advanced Optimus allows you to easily switch between GPUs to optimise performance or battery life without having to restart your laptop.

It has the new ultrafast DDR5-4800 RAM, which can now be expanded up to 64GB thanks to the addition of two SO-DIMM slots this year. In addition, the slim top bezel houses a new Full-HD webcam with 3DNR noise reduction and IR technology with Windows Hello support. This year, the M16 will also be available with Anime Matrix, a first for a 16-inch laptop. You can now personalise your laptop to reflect your personality.

Zephyrus Duo 16 Specifications:

The 2023 Zephyrus Duo 16 is a capable 16-inch gaming laptop housed in a 15-inch chassis. Duo 16 is the ultimate portable workstation for gamers and creators thanks to its unique dual-screen form factor.

With its "Dark Tech" theme featuring an all-black chassis adorned with dark metallic purple elements, it follows a sleek yet futuristic design ID. It is outfitted with the most recent AMD Ryzen 7000 series Dragon Range processors. AMD Dragon Range Ryzen 7000 series processors are the first chipset-based mobile series.

It's based on AMD's new ZEN 4 architecture and TSMC's 5 nm processor fabrication technology. The ROG Intelligent Cooling Ecosystem keeps the Duo 16 cool and quiet. It comes with a large 90 Whr battery. It can be charged using the included 330W adapter, the standard DC plug, or both of the 100W PD charge-enabled Type-C ports.
