The next big chapter of the Call of Duty franchise is just about to hit. Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will land officially on store shelves on November 14, 2025 — and for the very first time, it's going to arrive in Xbox Game Pass from day one. Microsoft has confirmed that the game is going to go live worldwide across cloud, console, and PC for all subscribers of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.
Treyarch and Raven Software brought the game into being as a continuation of the Black Ops series, reintroducing one of the most beloved sets of campaigns, multiplayer, and Zombies modes. The release is set in a near-future world with combined espionage and large-scale conflict, all with the fast action the franchise is known for.

Xbox Game Pass November 2025 Lineup
Black Ops 7 headlines a remarkably busy month for Xbox Game Pass. In the lead-up to itsworldwide launch, a host of new titles will hit the subscription service throughout November. Dead Static Drive and Sniper Elite: Resistance get things going on November 5, while Egging On and Whiskerwood drop on November 6. Then, on the 7th, comes Voidtrain, with Great God Grove, along with Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris, dropping in on November 11. Rounding out the lineup, Relic Hunters Legend and Winter Burrow hit shelves on November 12, leading into Black Ops 7's launch on the 14th.
A Major Milestone for Xbox
This is a major milestone for Xbox Game Pass, following the acquisition of Activision Blizzard. Black Ops 7 is the first Call of Duty title to go straight to the service, which is something many fans have been requesting for a long time. Its launch also comes after Microsoft revised pricing tiers for Xbox Game Pass, adding the latest Call of Duty to those subscribed to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.
Global Rollout and Gameplay Details Players can start pre-loading Black Ops 7 from November 10 at 9 a.m. PST, which is 10:30 p.m. IST. Global availability will begin on November 14, though the time may be slightly different in each region based on their time zones.

According to Treyarch, the campaign will include co-op action within a near-future setting of espionage. Multiplayer will launch with 16 maps – 12 for traditional 6v6 matches and 4 larger 20v20 arenas. And, of course, round-based Zombies will also make a return with a new story based around the Dark Aether universe.
