Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg took to the micro-blogging platform has announced that it is time to move on from the highly anticipated cage fight with X (formerly Twitter) owner Elon Musk. In his post, he said Elon Musk is not serious about the fight and it is now time to move.

Furthermore, he stated that he provided Elon with a real date to fight the cage match, and Dana White has offered an actual charity match and that Musk will not confirm the date and will continue to make excuses about the surgery, practice matches, and other things. He also stated that if Musk becomes serious, he knows how to contact him.

“I think we can all agree Elon isn't serious and it's time to move on.1 offered a real date. Dana White offered to make this a legit competition for charity. Elon won't confirm a date, then says he needs surgery, and now asks to do a practice round in my backyard instead. If Elon ever gets serious about a real date and official event, he knows how to reach me. Otherwise, time to move on. I'm going to focus on competing with people who take the sport seriously,” he said in his post.

Elon Musk previously revealed that the highly anticipated cage battle will be shown live on the X and Meta platforms. However, he has never confirmed the fight's dates and has stated that he will do it as soon as he has his surgery and MRI.

In response to the rumours, he has also given a hint that his foundation will co-manage the fight with Mark Zuckerberg's foundation and not the UFC. He added that he had spoken with the PM of Italy and the minister of culture and had decided on the epic location.

“The fight will be overseen by my and Zuck's foundations rather than the UFC. This platform and Meta will host the live stream. Everything in the camera frame will be in ancient Rome, so there will be nothing modern. I spoke with Italy's Prime Minister and Culture Minister. They've decided on an epic location,” he said in a post on X.
