Zuck vs Musk Fight: It seems like the adrenaline rush around the highly-anticipated face-off of the tech titans is not ready to die down anytime soon. Few hours after Elon Musk shared in an X post on Friday that the match would materialise "on an epic location" in Italy, Meta CEO and founder Mark Zuckerberg reacted to the comments on Threads.
Musk had informed users on X that the 'fight of the century' shall be managed by his and Mark's "foundations (not UFC)". Plus, the live video of the match, which will take place in an "ancient Rome" setting, will be streamed on X and Meta. He added that he spoke to the "PM of Italy and Minister of Culture," and they have agreed on a location. All proceeds from the showdown will "go to veterans" and "pediatric hospitals in Italy," Musk said.
What did Mark Zuckerberg reply?
Replying to Musk's post, Zuckerberg said: "I love this sport and I've been ready to fight since the day Elon challenged me. If he ever agrees on an actual date, you'll hear it from me. Until then, please assume anything he says has not been agreed on."
"Not holding my breath for Elon, but I'll share details on my next fight when I'm ready," Zuckerberg added.
What did Elon Musk say after these comments?
Replying to Zuckerberg's comments, the Tesla CEO said: "If Zuck really wants a lesson in why there are weight categories in fighting so badly, I could just head over to his house next week and teach him a lesson he won't soon forget." He added that the fight will be held "as soon as the arena in Italy is ready." To everyone's surprise, Musk announced: "Or we could do both and consider next week just a practice session."
