Upcoming Flipkart Sale: The biggest sale of the season - the Big Billion Days sale is just around the corner. And it seems e-commerce giant Flipkart is working behind the scenes well in advance to bring smiles to the faces of buyers. In its endeavour to upscale the shopping experience, the business has now announced a 'price lock' feature to allow customers to pre-book deals that can be availed after the sale begins, according to 91Mobiles.
The announcement came on expected lines as Money Control had recently hinted about a possible announcement. With price lock, users will be able to book a limited-time deal on the e-commerce portal in exchange for a fee. As per the report, the company has not shared a precise amount needed to lock the deal.
Whenever the sale begins, users can claim the deal and buy the product at a discounted rate based on the previous offers. This will save users from the risk of limited stock availability and offer alterations. As per the news platform, the aim is to ensure users can seal the product beforehand so that they do not end up frustrated when products go out of stock.
At the moment, the company has not announced the launch date of the feature. But it will likely be available around October when the Big Billion Day sale goes live. During the sale, great offers on smartphones ranging from Apple iPhone, Redmi, Samsung, Vivo and more are expected.

The new Apple iPhone 15 series and older generation models will likely be available at discounted prices during the sale. Plus, with the arrival of price lock, users will likely have the option to lock the best deals for their smartphone purchases.
