GOOGLE announced a host of AI products and integration of AI into the existing catalogue at the Google I/O event. In this latest series, CNBC reported that the tech giant plans to use AI in its Ads business and help YouTube Influencers by recommending video ideas.
The tech giant recently talked at length about its PaLM 2 model, its polished LLM, that is trained on massive amounts of data to deliver answers in a conversational form. "Certain groups" in Google are now brainstorming on plans to deploy PaLM 2-backed tools to let advertisers generate media material and suggest video ideas to creators on YouTube.

The company has been experimenting with the concept of suggesting "five video ideas," depending on the domain they make content on, the report said. Further, PaLM 2 is undergoing testing to offer titles, descriptions and more to videos, CNBC adds.
As per the media outlet, the company has green-signalled plans to "automate advertising and ad-supported consumer services" with the help of generative AI powered by large language models (LLMs), as per the internal documents.
As the rush to integrate AI language models gains traction globally, Google is acting to include emerging technology into its products so that they stay relevant in the evolving landscape. Microsoft is faring ahead of Google with backing from OpenAI. The research company announced the world-famous ChatGPT language model last year.
Further, a customer support strategy powered by artificial intelligence may "run across" a ton of Google products like Play Store, Android Search, Maps, Gmail and more, the documents hints. The automated model could provide specific answers for support queries and accept follow-ups.

Meanwhile, speaking of competition, Meta announced AI Sandbox as a "testing playground" for advertisers to test AI tools for advertising.
The tech giant will host the annual Google Marketing Live event on May 23, where it will showcase the latest "ads product innovations." Like the Google I/O event, we can expect a couple of AI announcements here. During I/O 2023, the tech giant axed the waitlist to access Bard, launched the Pixel Fold and more.
