Google which is making a lot of changes to its services all over the world has made yet another change. The California-based technology company has introduced a new Shop tab for users to browse movies and shows which are available for purchase or rent on Android TV. The feature is currently available in the US.

With the carousel and thumbnails on the screen, Android TV users will be able to explore various types of content in the Library section. If you have already purchased movies or web series from Google Play Movies & TV, YouTube, Google TV, or Android TV, they will be displayed in this section.

Users may also explore the titles on Android TV and then use their phones and tablets to download the media through Google Play Movies and TV to watch offline or on another device, according to the article.

"So, whether you're seeking a new and popular movie that isn't yet accessible on other streaming services, or you want to make a one-time movie purchase without committing to a subscription, the Shop tab makes it simple," Google stated.

"You may access your purchases from the new Library on the Shop page, in addition to finding new films to buy or rent," the company said.

"Visit the Shop tab to begin watching right away, or download your purchased content to your phone or tablet via the Google TV mobile app to watch later," it added.

Meanwhile, the films and channels that are available for purchase or rental have received more attention since Amazon's revamp of Prime Video last year.
