GOOGLE, one of the world's largest technology companies, is planning to hold its annual I/O developer conference on May 10 and may unveil its next-generation mid-range Pixel 7a at the same time. However, the company has not made any official announcement about the launch, but according to the rumour mill citing their top sources it could launch the smartphone in the next two weeks.

Not only limited to this, but it has also suggested the expected specifications of the Pixel 7a.

Google Pixel 7a Specifications (Expected):

The upcoming Google Pixel 7a could get a 6.1-inch OLED screen with FHD+ resolution with a refresh rate panel of 90 Hz which is a decent upgrade from the Pixel 6a with a 60 Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the Pixel 7a could get Google's new Tensor G2 chipset which will come paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.

The smartphone is expected to be powered by a 4,410mAh battery which is a significant upgrade over the 4,306mAh battery in the Pixel 6a. Additionally, the smartphone is expected to get 18W fast charging support. The smartphone is expected to run on the newly announced Android, however, it is less likely to digest that.

Speaking of the optics, the smartphone is expected to get a 64 MP Sony IMX787 primary shooter along with a 12 MP Sony IMX712 secondary camera. However, no information about the front camera has been unveiled as of now.

Google Pixel 7a Price In India: (Expected)

The company has not even teased the price bracket between which the phone would be launched but looking at the past, the company could introduce it between $450 and $500 which comes to around Rs 37,000- Rs 42,000. But if the company introduces a price hike, it would be difficult in positioning the phone in the Indian market.
