Google Pixel 8 Series: Google is set to launch the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro on October 4. Adding to the craze around these phones, the company has officially revealed the look of the upcoming Pixel devices. These handsets will launch at the 'Made by Google' event in New York City. While the vanilla is showcased in a pink shade, the 'Pro' handset can be seen in a 'Porcelain' colour.

In the video shared by the search giant, the upcoming Pixel Watch and Pixel Buds also marked attendance. In the video shared by the company, both phones are arranged side by side to give users a glimpse of the size difference between the two devices. According to reports, the Pixel 8 may have a 6.17-inch screen and the 8 Pro will have a 6.7-inch display.

Google Pixel Watch and Buds

Coming to the smartwatch, while the company does not have many details, it said the watch can offer "more personalized help, safety features, and health insights," according to The Verge.

From the X (formerly called Twitter) handle of Google India, the company posted the video teasing the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. However, there are no hints of the Watch and Buds. This could imply that these devices may not arrive at the same time. Google said the pre-orders for the phones will start from October 5 on e-commerce platform Flipkart.

Pixel 8 Series Leaks

According to reports, Pixel 8 may have a Tensor G3 chip, Android 14, a 4,485mAh battery with 24W wired charging, and a 50MP + 12MP and 10.8MP selfie lens. Coming to the 8 Pro, the device may have a Tensor G3 CPU, Android 14, a 4,950mAh battery with 27W wired charging, 50MP primary, 64MP ultra-wide and 48MP zoom lens and a 10.8MP front camera.

The event will be live-streamed on October 4, 10:00 AM ET (07:30 PM IST). As for more updates, the Pixel 8 series could witness a price rise and compete with the Galaxy S23 series in India in the premium Rs 80,000+ price category. You can read more on this here.
