Apple iPhone 15 series and Google Pixel 8 series are both one of the highly anticipated launches this year. Not only that, the tech giants have also announced the launch dates of the devices. Apple has scheduled its Wonderlust event on September 12 and Google has scheduled the live event on October 4.
In a new update, Google has joked about the iPhone 15 series getting the USB-C port in its latest Google Pixel 8 teaser. The teaser shows an iPhone and Pixel 8 phone in a spa-like setting wherein they both are having a normal conversation about the new developments.

During the conversation, the Pixel is asked about the feature that made iPhones famous to which they replied the ‘Sliding to Unlock’. Further, it continued that the Pixel gets AI-powered call handling for unknown numbers, live message translations, and photo enhancement capabilities.
The conversation took a u-turn when the iPhone said it is getting more changes including the USB-C port. iPhone teases, "You'll be seeing USB-C soon," suggesting that future iPhones might adopt the widely popular USB Type-C charging port. Pixel replied, “Are you finally getting a USB-C port?” to which iPhone replied, “How did you know?”
The teaser has increased the speculations in the tech world highlighting the concern that the iPhone 15 will get a Type-C port or will continue with the lighting port. According to the report, the iPhone maker is planning to bring the change to comply with EU regulations. Do note that the company has not confirmed any development on the iPhone 15 series changes and we will have to wait for the launch.
On the other hand, Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro are also anticipated to come with massive upgrades including the camera, performance, and more.
