Bard is Google's AI experiment in the artificial intelligence space. And it sits next to the chatbots from OpenAI and Microsoft to compete in the real world. Google recommends that users should use its search engine to determine the accuracy of the information provided by Bard. While some users of these AI models (such as ChatGPT and AI-powered Bing) claim that it might ultimately "kill" search, Debbie Weinstein, the search giant's VP and MD of the UK and Ireland, said that Bard is not the place to "search for specific information", according to a BBC report.
Interacting with the media house in BBC's Today programme, Weinstein adds that the AI experiment is suited for problem-solving and new ideas. "We're encouraging people to actually use Google as the search engine to actually reference information they found," the tech boss added.

Further, she highlighted the possibility to send feedback about the answers delivered by Bard via thumps up or down. But the AI model's page stated the limitations it has that make it prone to errors. She goes on to add that all results from Bard should be cross-checked via the traditional search.
This AI footprint of the tech giant witnessed an expansion with the rise of ChatGPT last year. The OpenAI tool also sparked debates about the risks of AI taking away jobs, threatening humanity and fueling a technological race without proper guardrails and more.

As per the report, Google also iterated that many people are off track when it comes to using the AI model. A report released by the tech giant revealed that the top-searched "how to" questions were "how to make money with AI?" and "how can AI help a business?"
To tackle these roadblocks, the company introduced a free online course - New Fundamentals to help businesses and users practically harness the benefits of AI.
