The programme is open to women entrepreneurs, early- and mid-career professionals with up to eighteen years of experience, and women with up to eight years of experience on a career break. Before the deadline of July 7, applications can be submitted by registering at dp.myavtar.com.
Madhuri Duggirala, VP, gTech Ads, at Google, stated, "We're committed to building a more inclusive workforce by providing our cohorts with targeted, purpose-driven, and meaningful support."
"Our Google mentors will continue including our latest AI products into the Ads Upskilling curriculum to ensure graduates can make confident and informed pivots in their careers," she stated.
This free 22-week virtual skill development programme was created in collaboration with Avtar and The Indian School of Business with the goal of empowering present and future female leaders as they transition their careers to digital marketing. Dr. Saundarya Rajesh, Founder and President of Avtar, said, "I am delighted to invite women to join us in this journey. Avtar's research shows that 45 per cent of women on career breaks are open to exploring new careers."
The speaker additionally stated that a career pivot towards Digital Marketing, which utilises in-demand digital proficiencies, provides global opportunities, high earning potential, flexibility to work remotely, and the potential to drive societal impact, is a surefire way to succeed in one's career.
