Infinix already brought some of the tech to the Note 60 series and promises to debut new features like satellite calling and messaging support at CES 2026. Now, new info regarding the regular Infinix Note 60 has appeared online, revealing much more about what consumers can expect from the device.

The Infinix Note 60, however, has been sighted on a Google Play Console listing with its key specifications and design shown.

The listing also mentions that the Infinix Note 60’s model number is X6879. We see it run on Android 16, which means the device will arrive with the latest version of Google’s mobile platform pre-installed.

In terms of performance, the phone uses a MediaTek processor with the codename ‘MT6878’. The CPU configuration includes:

- Four ARM Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.5 GHz

- Four ARM Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.0 GHz

Given this arrangement, the chipset in question is purported to be MediaTek Dimensity 7300.

The listing also means that the phone will come with 8GB of RAM, offering enough multitasking abilities and being capable for everyday use.

Display and Design Highlights

The Infinix Note 60 is mentioned to sport a display with a resolution of 1208 x 2644 pixels and pixel density prep for an in-depth screen. The front panel image showcases a punch-hole camera cutout.

In terms of physical controls:

- Power and volume buttons are placed on the right side

- A dedicated button appears on the left side, which could function as a custom action button

This hints at added usability features similar to those seen on premium smartphones.

Infinix Note 60 Series: What’s Coming

The Infinix Note 60 series also recently got certified in Indonesia by the SDPPI authority, revealing several models to come:

- Infinix Note 60 – X6879

- Infinix Note 60 Edge – X6887

- Infinix Note 60 Pro – X6878

These certifications suggest that the global launch of the series is close.

Infinix has also announced the Infinix Note 60 Ultra, which is co-designed with Italian design firm Pininfarina and adds more weight to the premium positioning of the series.
