Instagram, a popular photo-sharing platform, which already has a lot of features under the pipeline, has now expanded its Close Friends feature to posts and reels. Earlier, the close friends were limited to the Stories and Notes, where the users had a choice to choose a list of people with whom they wanted to share the content.

Mark Zuckerberg said on Instagram's broadcasting channel that the feature will work similarly to how Stories work, that is, with a small group of users. For example, if a user creates a reel or a post for close friends, it will be hidden from other users. Furthermore, if a Close friend comments on a post or a reel, it will be accessible exclusively to the other Close friends and not to all users.
