Apple has finally introduced the iOS 17 software update with a slew of new features including the NameDrop, updates to the FaceTime and more. The update is now available for download and can be downloaded on the iPhones which have A12 Bionic chipset and above.
Apple has added a variety of small features which aim to enhance the user experience and make their day-to-day tasks easier. Here are some of the hidden features which you may find useful.
1. Spotlight Search
Apple's new iOS 17 includes enhanced Spotlight Search results, as well as Siri Suggestions, and users can now access shortcuts on their iPhones directly. The new software updates will also include larger lettering, increased spacing between text and icons, and better replies to your search searches.
2. Customise Your Clock Font Size And Lock Screen
With this new version, Apple has added additional customisation choices, allowing you to modify the width and size of the clock on the iPhone lock screen. The firm has been working on the typefaces and clock beside the lock screen from the previous updates.
3. Listen To Web Pages on Safari:
Apple’s new software update iOS 17 brings more power to the popular Safari. With this new update, the users can now listen to the web pages which are text heavy which are mainly articles and blogs.
4. New Widgets:
Apple has also released a slew of new widgets, including the new Safari widget, which allows users to search their queries on the home screen. iPhone users, like Android users, will be able to access real-time search results immediately from the home screen.
5. Apple Music Updates:
Apple has also revamped Apple Music, its popular audio streaming platform and has now brought live album art, and collaboration with friends and family on the playlist. It has also added the crossfade feature for users.
6. Private Browsing On Safari:
Apple has once again imitated Android by introducing a lock feature for private surfing on Safari. It also offers tracking and fingerprint security. In addition, the extensions are disabled by default in private mode.
