iOS 18, iPad OS 18 Supported Devices: Apple announced its new iOS 18, iPadOS 18, watchOS 11, macOS Sequoia and more at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2024. The new OSs for iPhone, iPad and Mac bring Apple Intelligence, which led Apple to jump on the AI bandwagon. Apart from these, all new software versions get a host of new features, UI enhancements, upgrades in apps and more.

While Apple said the developer beta of all versions is already available via the Apple Developer Program, the public beta will be available next month. The stable build for these versions will follow in the fall of 2024. However, the big question is - which devices will get these software versions? For a detailed look, here are the devices to know.

iOS 18 Compatible Devices

The update brings newer customisations for the home screen, Apple Intelligence, ChatGPT-powered Siri and more. While Apple Intelligence features will work on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, here are the iPhones supported for the stable iOS 18 update.

The iPad's update brings a Calculator with Math Notes, updates for the Home Screen, Apple intelligence and more. Here are the eligible devices for the same.

iPad Pro (M4)

iPad Pro 12.9-inch (3rd generation and later)

iPad Pro 11-inch (1st generation and later)

iPad Air (M2)

iPad Air (3rd generation and later)

iPad (7th generation and later)

iPad mini (5th generation and later)

Note: Apple Intelligence requires an iPad with an M1 or later chip.

watchOS 11 Supported Devices

The tech giant introduced a Vitals app, Translate app, 'Training Load' feature and more in the app for watchOS 11. While not all features will be available on all devices, here are the compatible Apple Watch for the update.

Also, you must note that the watchOS will work on iPhone Xs or later running iOS 18.

macOS Sequoia Supported Devices

The new PC OS sports features like iPhone mirroring, gaming upgrades, message scheduling in Messages, Apple Intelligence and more. While a Mac with an M1 or later chip will be eligible for Apple Intelligence, here are the supported devices for the update.
