iPhone 15 Pro Max Issues: Apple launched the much-awaited iPhone 15 series at its mega Wonderlust event. Soon after the deliveries, users have been reporting several issues on these phones, especially the Pro models. After the colour-changing titanium chassis and out-of-control heating, people are now storming social media to report screen burn-in on their new 15 Pro Max.
According to a PhoneArena report, a user with the handle (@tarunvats33) on X (formerly called Twitter) shared that the phone is reportedly experiencing issues with the screen. The problem was echoed by several Redditors. In most cases, a screen burn-in is a result of a prolonged digital photo, which is left static on the panel.

The problem mostly plagues OLED screens. This imprint might even be visible when the screen is switched off. Adding weight to these claims, several users posted their ordeal on Reddit. The burn-in of the home screen icons, QWERTY keyboard and YouTube interface is evident in the images posted by these Redditors.
"I have the same issue. Apple will replace it. Seems relatively uncommon, I've seen about 5 reports total. But definitely is a real issue with the 15 Pro Max that the previous generations haven't had," a Reddit user said. Plus, there have been reports of screen burn-in on the Apple Community forum.
Burn-in mostly starts with image retention with a ghostly map of the previous screen. In case these things occur, it is recommended that users should turn off the handset before it turns permanent. According to the report, these changes generally trigger with static wallpapers and stable app elements like Google Maps and others.
The 2,000 nits peak brightness and the heating issue could jointly add to the problem. If the burn-in does not subside, it might be a manufacturing defect. In case of an issue, you can reach out to Apple support for a solution. The new iPhone 15 series comes with a standard one-year warranty.
