THE UPCOMING iPhone 15 series have been in the news for a set of leaks pouring in from the leaks circles. In the latest series of those leaks, an industry insider (@Tech_Reve) claimed that the iPhone 15 Pro Max could come with the same IMX 803 camera sensor as the iPhone 14 Pro Max.

The sensor is the same 1/1.28 inch, Quad-Bayer camera on the current 14 Pro models, as per GSMArena. However, leaks in the past reported that the upper-end model could have an IMX 903 primary sensor on the back.

Moreover, apart from the optics, the M12 panel supplied by Samsung will be used in the iPhone 15 Pro Max, Revegnus hints. This could mean that the display and the camera on the upcoming Apple phones might not carry a giant leap compared to the 14 Pro and Pro Max models.

Speaking of other details, the Twitter user leaked that the 15 Pro Max could have a 3nm A17 Bionic chip for performance. The CPU will be manufactured by TSMC, according to reports. Secondly, the top-end model might sport 8GB LPDDR5 RAM compared to the 6GB in the 14 Pro Max.

While we are over three months away from the official debut of the iPhone 15 series, the rumour mill has given us a good picture of the upcoming smartphones. Leaks in the past hinted that the iPhone 15 Pro Max could have a periscope camera with 6x optical zoom.

Further, Dynamic Island could debut on all 15 models against the Pro-exclusive 14 series. Additionally, the Pro units will have a titanium construction this time. A USB Type-C port might finally replace the Lightning port on the iPhone 15 series. Moreover, the 15 Pro Max is tipped to come with the thinnest bezel on an iPhone ever. With these upgrades, the phones could witness a significant price jump across models.

Speaking of other updates on Apple, the tech giant will host the WWDC 2023 event in June. The company will likely announce a host of products and new software that you can check out here.
