iPhone 16 Launch Date: Apple has officially announced the iPhone 16 series launch date on Monday. The tech giant has also shared an invite to the media with the tagline ‘It’s Glowtime’. Apple is slated to introduce the iPhone 16 series, AirPods and a new smartwatch. Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming iPhone 16 release date updates.

Apple has announced that the iPhone 16 launch event will be taking place on September 9. Apple is expected to focus more on the Apple Intelligence features and probably the Glowtime tagline refers to the more powerful Siri, as shown at the WWDC 2024 event.

Apple is expected to make a slew of announcements at the Apple September event. These new announcements will include:
1. iPhone 16 Series: The company will be introducing the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. The vanilla trims will be getting an action button along with the new camera layout, new A18 chipset and dynamic island. On the other hand, the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will not get any massive design changes but may get a new A18 Pro bionic chipset along with a new Capture button.
2. Apple Intelligence Features: The AI features are expected to take the spotlight. It may acquire a more robust Siri with contextual awareness and ChatGPT. The iPhone 16 series will also include Smart Script, Tap-to-Pay, Genmoji, a new AI-powered Notes app, gesture control, a clean-up feature, and other features.

3. AirPods: Apple is expected to introduce the AirPods at the iPhone 16 event which will replace the second and third-generation AirPods. It may get a USB-C port along with ANC. The report suggests that the AirPods 4 will be introduced in two different variants. The entry-level variant may miss out on the wireless charging and the flagship variant will be more pricey.
4. Watch Series 10, Watch Ultra 3: The company is expected to introduce the next-generation smartwatch series along with the flagship Watch Ultra 3. While there is no information available on the internet, we may have to wait for the iPhone 16 launch date for more information.
