Apple will likely unveil the iPhone 16 series at its rumoured September 2024 event. On the possible September 10 launch date, we can expect new iPhones, AirPods, Apple Watch and more. However, this will also imply the end of roads for select old Apple products from the official Apple Store. But, these may still be available via third-party online stores and retail partners.

For a better context, here is the possible list of devices that may be discontinued from the Apple Stores after the launch of new hardware at the expected September event.

iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max: Based on the previous track record of Apple and speculations from 9To5Mac, the tech giant could discontinue its first titanium build smartphones next month. Plus, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max may end up as the last Pro models to sport 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch screens as the iPhone 16 Pros may have larger displays.

iPhone 14 Plus: The 'Plus' iPhone from 2022 may exit the Apple Store after the launch of the new iPhones. The speculation is based on the previous track record of discontinuing the iPhone 13 Plus in September 2023. However, the vanilla iPhone 14 may still be available.

iPhone 13: The 2021 vanilla flagship could witness discontinuation this year after the release of the iPhone 16. It is currently the oldest iPhone available via Apple's official channels. After a possible exit, the iPhone 14 may fill this gap. The 2022 vanilla flagship could stick around until the release of the rumoured iPhone SE 4.

Apple Watch Series 9, Ultra 2, SE 2: Apple will likely introduce significant changes to the Apple Watch with the Series 10 on the device's 10th anniversary. However, this implies the latest units - Watch Series 9, Watch Ultra 2 and Watch SE 2 may not be available via Apple's official channels to make room for the Watch Series 10, Watch Ultra 3 and Watch SE 3.

Apple AirPods 2, AirPods 3: The AirPods 2 has been on Apple's shelf since 2019 as an entry-level choice to experience wireless Apple earbuds. In 2021, the company added the upgraded AirPods 3 to the lineup and continued to sell both models. However, with the rumoured release of two new AirPods (one entry-level and the other mid-tier), we might witness the store exit of their predecessors.
