iPhone 17 Series: There has been a lot of anticipation building up for Apple's next event, as this time the Cupertino-based tech giant might drop its next in line flagship series smartphones, the iPhone 17 series. Only recently the WWDC 2025 took place, and Apple showcased some major changes in its software and its design. The all-new "Liquid Glass" was introduced with the iOS 26, which brings a refreshed look and feel to Apple's overall user experience.

Now that all eyes are on Apple's next big event that is expected to take place in September this year, we can expect Apple to drop its latest hardware. Now even before the actual launch takes place, the internet is flooded with rumours and leaks about what the next-gen iPhones can bring to the table this time.

Now there are leaked images of the next-gen iPhones on the internet right now, shared by @MajinBuOfficial on X (Twitter), a popular tipster, of the latest iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Air, and the images showcase a major overhaul in design and align a lot with the rumours that have been circulating on the internet about the iPhones so far. Both the models can be seen sporting a black colour and a reimagined camera design. The iPhone Air looks slim, slimmer than any iPhone we have seen so far.

iPhone 17 Air can be seen with a single camera setup and a LED flash on the top right, while the iPhone 17 Pro can be seen with a triple camera setup in a triangular placement with the LED flash on the top right corener as well. Now let's keep in mind these are very tempting images, but nothing has been officially confirmed by Apple so far, so we must tread lightly with this information.

What to Expect Inside the iPhone 17 Series: Chips, Charging, and Cooling Upgrades

Apple’s upcoming iPhone 17 lineup is shaping up to deliver meaningful upgrades—especially on the Pro side. At the heart of it all, the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max are expected to run on the new A19 Pro chip, promising a noticeable leap in performance. In contrast, the standard iPhone 17 might reuse last year’s A18 chip from the iPhone 16, a decision that could stir familiar criticism—just like when Apple pulled a similar move with the iPhone 14.

In terms of memory, the iPhone 17 Pro Max could finally jump to 12 GB of RAM, giving it more room for demanding apps and multitasking. The rest of the series, however, is likely to stick with 8 GB, which still marks a decent spec for most users.

Battery life is also getting a slight boost across the board. While the increases aren’t groundbreaking, users can expect better endurance—especially with the standard iPhone 17, which might arrive with a slightly larger screen. Charging is set to improve as well, with reports suggesting support for 35W wired charging. That’s a step up for Apple, though still behind some of its faster-charging Android competition.

Perhaps the most intriguing development is tied to cooling. Apple is rumoured to be bringing a vapour chamber cooling system to the iPhone 17 Pro Max. If true, it could mean smoother performance under heavy loads, particularly for tasks like high-end gaming or editing 4K video.

Overall, the iPhone 17 series appears to be all about refining what’s already there—better chips, improved battery, and smarter thermal management. The real differences may once again be reserved for the Pro models.
