Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) will offer new doorstep delivery of SIM card services in 2025. Following the recent soft launch of its 5G services in Hyderabad, the government-owned telecom operator seeks to provide ease of access by enabling ordering of new SIMs through a simple online request. This initiative works towards BSNL's aim to enhance 4G and 5G network availability across the country.

How to Order a BSNL SIM Card Online

BSNL has also launched a Self KYC Portal where users can complete the procedure from home with self-KYC.

Steps to Order Your BSNL SIM:

1. Visit the official BSNL Self-KYC portal:

https://sancharaadhaar.bsnl.co.in/BSNLSKYC/

2. Enter the required details: PIN code, Name, and alternate mobile number

3. Choose the recipient: For yourself, a family member, or someone you know

4. Complete the KYC process following the basic steps on the website.

5. Submit the form and verify with the OTP sent to your alternate number.

After verification, your new SIM card’s details are sorted and delivery arranged right to your door step via BSNL.

BSNL’s Expanding 4G and 5G Network

- BSNL aims to install 1 lakh 4G sites by the end of June 2025.

- More cities in India will soon be added to the coverage for 5G services. 

The telco has launched Q-5G FWA (Fixed Wireless Access), which provides a speed of 100 Mbps for a monthly fee of ₹999 in select cities.
